Plan a week that feeds you.
A meal plan should begin with your calendar, not an ambitious shopping list.
Before choosing recipes, look at the week ahead. How many meals will you actually prepare? Which evenings need something quick? A plan that reflects your schedule is easier to use.
Choose a small number of meals that share ingredients. A vegetable can appear in a warm bowl one day and a different dish the next. Variety does not require a completely new shopping list for every meal.
Leave room for changes. An unplanned dinner or an evening with less energy should not make the whole plan feel like a failure. Keep one simple backup and build flexibility into your list.
