Four questions for a new digital tool.
Look beyond a polished demonstration to how a tool fits your actual work.
What task would I use this for? Begin with a real activity, not a collection of promised features. Describe the result you need and the constraints around it.
What information would I give it? Review the permissions, privacy information, and settings relevant to that task before sharing material. Keep sensitive information out until you understand the arrangement.
How would I check the output? Decide which parts require independent verification. A convenient result and a reliable result are separate questions.
What happens when I leave? Look for how to export your work, cancel an agreement, or remove information. A considered choice includes the exit as well as the first impression.
